Nine nations launch anti-ballistic Freja coalition with Ukraine — Poland excluded

Nine European nations and Ukraine have launched work on the Freja Anti-Ballistic Missile Coalition, aimed at replacing costly and increasingly unavailable US defence systems. The project is a response to depleted American stockpiles and the threat of a harsh winter for Ukraine. Poland was not included among the coalition's founding members.
