Health minister: doctors should ultimately work on employment contracts, but system not ready yet
Health Minister Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda told Radio ZET that the target model is for doctors to work exclusively on employment contracts, but the system is not yet ready for that change. Current proposals cap salaries and limit doctors to two posts. She assessed that Poland no longer faces the problem of doctors emigrating for work, and confirmed that funds for this year's pay rises for medical staff are secured.
