Gen. Piotrowski: army border duty with Belarus is hampering military transformation

Retired General Tomasz Piotrowski, former Operational Commander of the Polish Armed Forces, told Defence24.pl that the current scale of military deployment on the Polish-Belarusian border is significantly hampering the army's core mission. He called for a decisive reduction of the armed forces' border tasks to avoid slowing military transformation and modernisation.
