Blue Beetle joins DCU: Xolo Maridueña confirmed in "Man of Tomorrow"

James Gunn has confirmed that Blue Beetle will join his new DC Universe, with Xolo Maridueña reprising the role he played in the 2023 DCEU film — no recast. The character will appear in Gunn's upcoming film "Man of Tomorrow." Gunn had previously signalled in 2023 that Blue Beetle, alongside Amanda Waller and Peacemaker, would be carried over from the old DCEU.
