Warsaw hospital surgeon drew 35,000 zł/month while working two posts simultaneously
Former deputy health minister Janusz Cieszyński revealed that Dr Piotr Szenko, head of surgery at Warsaw's Szpital Południowy, simultaneously ran a ward in Wołomin. He allegedly received 35,000 zł per month for hours when he was physically present at the other facility. The Wołomin hospital management firmly denies any irregularities, citing the nature of his contract. The case is part of a broader scandal surrounding Szpital Południowy being scrutinised by PiS politicians.
