Russian strike kills three in Odesa as von der Leyen arrives in Kyiv for defence talks

A Russian strike on the port city of Odesa killed at least three people, according to a local official. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Kyiv on Wednesday to announce new defence initiatives in support of Ukraine. Ukraine also reported that overnight it struck 20 Russian vessels in the Black Sea, including gas tankers.
