Record 16,500 applicants for Szczecin medical university – double last year's figure

More than 16,500 candidates have applied to the Pomeranian Medical University (PUM) in Szczecin, twice as many as in the previous year. The sharp rise in applications points to growing interest in medical professions among young Poles. The university has not yet commented on whether it will expand its intake to meet demand.
