Denmark to buy two Boeing P-8A Poseidon patrol aircraft to boost Arctic security

Denmark's Ministry of Defence has announced its intention to acquire two Boeing P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft from the United States. The planes are intended to strengthen surveillance and security in the Arctic and North Atlantic regions. The P-8A Poseidon is an advanced naval reconnaissance aircraft already operated by several NATO allies.
