Poland's NFZ to Spend Extra PLN 1.2bn on Obstetrics, Oncology and Child Psychiatry
Poland's Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tarification has recommended that the National Health Fund (NFZ) increase its spending by PLN 1.2 billion this year, focusing on obstetrics, oncology and child psychiatric care. The NFZ also wants to incentivise hospitals to offer anaesthesia during natural childbirth. The new reimbursement tariff aims to improve the quality and accessibility of care in these areas.
