Bear raids elderly couple's fridge in Japan amid 14 break-ins in two weeks

On Monday evening, 87-year-old Mitsuo Matsubara discovered a large Asiatic black bear in his kitchen in Japan — the animal had opened his fridge and scattered food across the floor. Authorities believe the same bear may be responsible for 14 home break-ins in the same town over the past fortnight. Traps and electric fences have been set up as the search continues.
