Astronomers discover four white dwarfs hidden within 65 light-years of Earth

Astronomers have spotted four previously undetected white dwarfs within 65 light-years of the Solar System. The stars orbit red dwarfs in binary systems. White dwarfs are the remnants of low-mass stars that have reached the end of their lives.
