NFZ to spend PLN 1.2bn more on childbirth and child psychiatry
Poland's National Health Fund (NFZ) will spend PLN 1.2 billion more per year on obstetrics and child psychiatry following a revaluation of medical services. The NFZ is also introducing penalties for hospitals that avoid providing anaesthesia during childbirth. The changes aim to improve care for mothers and young patients.
