Twitter/X turns 20 and is labelled the internet's top source of disinformation

Twitter launched publicly on 15 July 2006, celebrating its 20th anniversary this week. After Elon Musk's takeover, it was rebranded as X in 2023. EU and international institutions now label it the internet's primary source of disinformation.
