India–UK Trade Deal: Cheaper Scotch, Wimbledon Towels for Shoppers

A free trade agreement between India and the United Kingdom — the world's fifth and sixth largest economies — has come into effect. The deal is set to cut tariffs on a range of goods, including Scotch whisky and textiles such as Wimbledon towels. Indian consumers could see cheaper British imports, while UK exporters gain easier access to the Indian market.
