US Bars Citizens in Congo from Flying Home Over Ebola Outbreak
The Trump administration placed Americans in the Democratic Republic of Congo on a "do-not-board" list, barring their return to the US amid an ongoing Ebola outbreak. Those affected must spend 21 days in a third country before being allowed to fly home. About two dozen Americans set to board flights home on Tuesday were already blocked, and it remains unclear whether the order also applies to US government workers, including over 20 CDC employees in the DRC.
