Senate Democrats Block Defence Bill Over Iran War and Israel Provisions

The US Senate voted 50–46 to block debate on the annual National Defence Authorisation Act (NDAA). Senate Democrats objected to provisions on war funding related to Iran and defence cooperation with Israel. The NDAA is passed annually and sets the Pentagon's budget and strategic priorities.
