Filming begins on "The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum" with Andy Serkis back as Gollum

Warner Bros. has officially begun production on "The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum," directed by Andy Serkis. The studio released a brief behind-the-scenes video showing Serkis back in character as Gollum, sifting through the script on set. The film is scheduled for release on 17 December 2027.
