Kuczer beats opponent ranked 702 places higher at ITF tournament in Olomouc

Daria Kuczer (WTA 1025) caused an upset in the first round of the ITF clay-court tournament in Olomouc, defeating seeded Raluca Georgiana Serban of Cyprus (WTA 323) 6–2, 6–4. The Polish player advanced to the second round despite being ranked 702 places below her opponent.
