US fast-food chain Chipotle Mexican Grill opened its first restaurant in Mexico, in the city of Monterrey, calling it a significant milestone. The move triggered widespread mockery, scepticism and anger among Mexicans, with one social media user comparing it to "a dog teaching a duck to fly." The chain operates more than 4,000 locations worldwide.
