France considers permanent weapons depots in Poland for rapid defence

France and Poland are in early-stage talks about establishing permanent French weapons depots in Poland, which would allow rapid military reinforcement in the event of a threat, according to Rzeczpospolita. The idea emerged from contacts between Paris and Warsaw. Such a move would strengthen Poland's defence capacity on NATO's eastern flank.
