Police and a prosecutor entered the Constitutional Tribunal's chamber on Tuesday as the judges' General Assembly once again failed to take place, Wirtualna Polska reports. Tribunal spokeswoman Weronika Ścibor confirmed the events and stated that "the Tribunal will not yield to any pressure from the executive branch". The incident is the latest episode in the ongoing standoff between the Constitutional Tribunal and the current government.
