Thousands of fish dead in Bóbr river — Tauron and ministry stay silent
A mass fish die-off occurred in the Pilchowice reservoir on the Bóbr river in Poland, with suspicion falling on toxic contamination. The prosecutor's office has opened an investigation, and the Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection is checking whether the investor followed environmental guidelines. Energy company Tauron and the Ministry of Infrastructure, considered the key parties responsible, have refused to comment on the incident.
