Alan Ritchson in talks to lead Netflix action movie 'Maelstrom'

Alan Ritchson, star of "Reacher," is in negotiations to lead the Netflix action movie "Maelstrom," directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. The spec script was originally sold to Warner Bros. in 1993 by producer Jeff Robinov. The project has been in development for roughly 33 years before finding a home at Netflix.
