Poland legalises autonomous vehicle testing on public roads

Poland is changing its laws to allow autonomous vehicle testing on public roads, following the example of neighbouring countries such as Germany and the Czech Republic. Aleksander Rajch of the Polish New Mobility Association says the first test drives could theoretically begin within this year. The legal change marks a significant step toward a transport revolution, though widespread deployment remains years away.
