Spanish PM Sanchez's brother convicted, banned from public office for 9 years

A court has convicted David Sanchez, brother of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, sentencing him to a nine-year ban from holding public office for abuse of power and influence peddling. The former regional head of the ruling PSOE party was also convicted in the same case. The affair has fuelled political controversy in Spain for months.
