Boko Haram has been using AI to improve terror attacks since 2023

A Cambridge University report based on in-depth interviews with dozens of former Boko Haram members reveals that the Nigerian jihadist group has been using artificial intelligence to improve its terror operations since 2023. Experts warn that Boko Haram is unlikely to be the only terrorist organisation exploiting AI for such purposes.
