Weronika Falkowska won her third consecutive match at the WTA 125 tournament in Istanbul, booking a place in the round of 16. She saved two match points during a dramatic deciding tiebreak, which she eventually won 8-6. The Polish player had given up defending her national title in Gdynia to chase the valuable ranking points on offer in Turkey.
