Kaczyński reaffirms opposition to Ukraine's EU membership despite ambassador's thanks
Jarosław Kaczyński, leader of Poland's PiS party, responded on X to Ukrainian ambassador Wasyl Bodnar's expression of gratitude, firmly reaffirming his opposition to "Banderism" and Ukraine's accession to the EU. Kaczyński wrote that his position has not changed and that he remains opposed to what he calls Ukraine's "genocidal ideology." The exchange came after Bodnar publicly thanked Kaczyński for his support of Ukraine.
