Boston Dynamics tests Spot robot dog for last-mile package delivery

Boston Dynamics is testing a conveyor belt accessory for its quadruped robot Spot that enables autonomous last-mile package delivery. Spot can pick up packages from a vehicle and deposit them at a customer's doorstep without human assistance. The robot already works in factory inspections and patrolling the ruins of Pompeii, and this trial marks a new commercial frontier for the platform.
