RTV licence fee waived for pensioners earning under 4,451.78 PLN — but conditions are strict

Polish pensioners earning less than 4,451.78 PLN per month are exempt from the RTV licence fee, but must meet additional conditions beyond simply reaching retirement age. Turning 60 alone is not enough — a formal declaration must be submitted at a Polish Post office branch. Failure to do so means paying the fee despite being legally entitled to the exemption.
