Global DRAM Shortfall of 28.7 Exabytes Predicted by 2030 Despite China Output Surge

Research firm Citrini predicts a 28.7 exabyte DRAM shortfall by 2030 out of total global demand of 157.5 EB, covering both HBM and standard DRAM. The supply deficit is forecast to grow from 18% to 25% even accounting for surging Chinese production from firms like CXMT. The findings align with warnings recently issued by the CEO of SK Hynix.
