Riders using Waymo's autonomous robotaxis have been spotted sleeping, leaving trash, tracking dog poop and even giving birth inside the vehicles. While the cars drive themselves, the cleanup is still entirely a human responsibility. The growing popularity of the service is creating new operational challenges for the company.
