Fontainebleau forest fire near Paris: 2,000 hectares burned, 1,000 evacuated

A major wildfire has torn through the historic Fontainebleau forest near Paris, burning approximately 2,000 hectares and forcing the evacuation of around 1,000 people. Hundreds of firefighters are working to contain the blaze. Two people have been arrested on suspicion of deliberately starting the fire.
