Experts warn UC100 waste law will raise prices and hurt business competitiveness

At a debate held on June 11 at the PAP Press Centre, the Institute of Public Finance presented a report warning of serious risks from the UC100 draft law on producer responsibility for waste. According to experts, implementing the law risks raising business operating costs, increasing consumer prices and weakening the competitiveness of parts of the Polish economy. Experts are calling for further consultations before the bill is passed.
