Ryan Murphy's 'The Shards' Trailer: Sex, Drugs & a Missing Girl at Prep School

FX has released the first trailer for Ryan Murphy's coming-of-age drama The Shards, based on Bret Easton Ellis' prep school thriller novel, ahead of its August 5 premiere. Igby Rigney plays Bret, who pitches his story to editor Terry, played by Wes Bentley. The show follows a group of young people entangled in sex, drugs and a missing girl mystery.
