Peskov Calls EU Sanctions on Russian Messenger Max 'Absurd Repression'

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov accused the European Union of pursuing a "repressive" policy after the EU imposed sanctions on Russia's state-backed messaging app Max. Peskov described the sanctions as "absurd" and targeting ordinary users. The EU had designated the app as a tool of Russian propaganda and disinformation.
