WHO warns Ebola outbreak in DRC and Uganda is 2–4 times larger than official figures

The World Health Organization has warned that the current Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda could be two to four times larger than official figures suggest. The outbreak has officially infected nearly 2,000 people and killed over 700. WHO is calling for strengthened disease detection and reporting systems in both countries.
