Anti-corruption agents arrest ex-heads of Polish National Foundation over smear campaign
Poland's Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) detained two former heads of the Polish National Foundation — Cezary J. and Maciej Ś. Prosecutors are investigating the "Fair Courts" campaign, which was used to discredit Polish judges. The campaign was carried out by a company called Solvere, linked to officials from ex-PM Beata Szydło's government. The alleged financial loss to the foundation exceeds 8 million złoty.
