Astronauts take first human X-rays in space — and they worked
After 65 years of human spaceflight, astronauts have successfully taken the first X-rays of a human body in space. The experiment worked as intended, opening new possibilities for diagnosing injuries and illnesses during long-duration missions. Until now, this basic diagnostic tool had been unavailable in orbit.
