Nice marks 10th anniversary of Bastille Day truck attack that killed 86
France commemorated the tenth anniversary of the 14 July 2016 terrorist attack in Nice. The attacker, Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, drove a truck into a crowd watching Bastille Day fireworks on the Promenade des Anglais, killing 86 people; he was shot dead by police that same night. On Monday, a special terrorism court in Paris begins the trial of eight people accused of aiding him.
