Former KRRiT head Maciej Świrski detained by CBA – proceedings begin in Rzeszów
Maciej Świrski, former head of Poland's National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT), and Cezary Jurkiewicz were detained by the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) and brought to the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Rzeszów on Tuesday afternoon. Prosecutor Jaromir Rybczak declined to confirm whether one or both detainees were being questioned. The reasons for the detentions have not yet been made public.
