Gibraltar joins Schengen zone as UK and EU sign historic deal

The United Kingdom and the European Union signed a landmark agreement in Brussels on Tuesday governing Gibraltar's status. Negotiated with Spain's involvement, the deal introduces free movement of people and goods between Gibraltar and the EU. It will enter into provisional force from Wednesday.
