Poland's Deposit System Record: 700 Million Containers Returned in June

Climate Minister Paulina Hennig-Kloska announced a record result for Poland's deposit return system: 700 million containers were returned in June 2025. Since the start of the year, a total of 2.3 billion cans and bottles have been returned. Poland now has 64,000 deposit return points in operation across the country.
