June Was Deadliest Month for Ukrainian Civilians Since April 2022

More than 293 Ukrainian civilians were killed and 1,990 wounded in Russian strikes in June 2025, making it the deadliest single month since April 2022, the UN monitoring mission reported. Since Russia's February 2022 invasion, the UN has verified a total of 16,431 civilian deaths across Ukraine.
