Polish prosecutor seeks European Parliament's approval to arrest MEP Braun over Oleśnica doctor case

Prosecutor General Waldemar Żurek has filed a request with the European Parliament for permission to detain MEP Grzegorz Braun in order to formally charge him. The case involves, among other things, the unlawful deprivation of liberty of a doctor in Oleśnica. The request requires the European Parliament's approval as Braun holds MEP immunity.
