Ryanair passenger's wife held his legs as he hung out of the plane: "If we die, we die together"

Svetlana Grković described how she grabbed her husband Ljubisa Karović's legs during a Friday Ryanair flight after an engine failure sent debris smashing through an acrylic window, leaving him dangling headfirst outside the aircraft for around two minutes. She said her only thought was: "If we die, we die together." The incident has prompted renewed scrutiny of Ryanair's passenger safety procedures.
