Prosecutor General seeks forced appearance of MEP Braun before prosecutors
Prosecutor General Waldemar Żurek has filed a request with the President of the European Parliament to allow the detention and forced appearance of MEP Grzegorz Braun for prosecutorial proceedings. Prosecutors say Braun has repeatedly ignored summonses to appear, which they say violates the constitutional principle of equality before the law.
