New dinosaur species Uragasaurus kalasinensis identified in Thailand from single vertebra

Scientists have described a new species of long-necked dinosaur, Uragasaurus kalasinensis, based on a single vertebra found in northeastern Thailand. The find belongs to one of the most unusual sauropod families and significantly extends the known geographic range of the group. Researchers deemed the bone distinctive enough to formally establish a new species.
