France to license Ukraine to produce air weapons and air-defence missiles
French President Emmanuel Macron announced that France will grant Ukraine licences to locally produce various types of air weapons and air-defence missiles. However, analysts caution that holding a licence is far from enough — Ukraine would need to build substantial industrial capacity, which takes time and resources not easily available during an active war. The practical feasibility of the plan remains very much in question.
