Estonian director's body-horror film 'Birth' secures film fund backing

Estonian director Oskar Lehemaa is developing his first English-language body-horror film, titled "Birth," after presenting it at the Frontières Co-Production Market. The Tallifornia Film Fund has shown interest in backing the project. The story follows a couple who, after years of failed conception attempts, attend a secluded fertility retreat in the woods as a last resort before IVF.
